Choose freely among 18 jurisdictions including Japan, the US, Europe, China and Korea, with the five major offices selectable in a single click. Pick a window of five years, twenty years or the whole record — and when an office returns nothing, that zero is shown plainly, because "no similar art in that country" is itself a finding.
A comparison table, and a PDF for your attorney
Results from every selected office are pooled and ranked by how closely they relate to your invention. The table shows office, core technology, possible differences, claim scope and degree of overlap (high / medium / low); for any patent you can pull a summary and a plain reading of the main claims in your own language, then export the lot as a PDF with a list of questions for your patent attorney.

To protect the confidentiality of the invention, the description you enter, the queries and any documents you upload are never permanently stored on Factdock's servers.

About the scope of the searched data
This feature has AI research published patents from Japan and abroad, together with patent information available on the web. It therefore covers most existing patents and published gazettes. However, because search engines index new material with a delay, the very latest filings or publications from the past few weeks may not yet appear in the results.
