Data we collect and organise from public bodies and academic sources. Every result comes with its source URL and publication date.

  • Medicines databases

    Approved human and veterinary medicines from regulators in Japan, the US, Europe and Asia — search by name or active ingredient, then open the details.

  • Adverse event counts

    Aggregated counts of reported adverse events, by medicine. No individual case reports are provided.

  • Official announcements and regulatory news

    Announcements from governments and regulators around the world, sorted by field and country, newest first.

  • Scientific literature

    Bibliographic records and abstracts of papers, to check the evidence behind a claim.

    Issue a key and call the API

    Issue an API key on the developer page and call it from your system or AI agent.

Two ways to connect

REST API

Call it over HTTPS from the systems you build. Responses are JSON, and titles and summaries can be returned in the language you specify.

MCP

Register it as a tool for your in-house AI agents, so they can search primary sources and cite them in their answers.

Pay-as-you-go API credits

Buy credits in advance and use them as you go. There is no monthly fee, and you can start small.

  • Separate from app credits

    API credits are a business wallet of their own, kept apart from the credits of a personal app plan.

  • Each call uses credits

    Each call uses the number of credits set for that endpoint. Your balance and this month's usage are shown on the developer page.

  • Top up when you need to

    When your balance runs low, buy another pack. Calls stop when there are not enough credits left — nothing is charged beyond what you bought.

  • Larger volumes

    For large deployments or a quote, please contact us.

Safeguards against runaway usage

  • Repeated identical calls are stopped

    If the same call with the same conditions is repeated in a short time, it is stopped without using credits — protection against loops in your code or your AI agent.

  • A daily cap for each company

    Each company has an upper limit on the credits it can use per day, so a mistake cannot drain your balance at once.

  • Limits on call rate and size

    Overly fast or overly large requests are refused with an error, protecting both your balance and the service.

  • Keys you control

    A key is shown only once, when it is issued, and we store it only as a cryptographic hash. You can stop a key at any time.

  • Integration into your products is allowed

    You may build it into your own apps, services and in-house systems.

  • Please show the sources

    When you display results, please show the source of each one.

  • No resale or redistribution

    Reselling or redistributing the data as it is, or offering it as a competing service, is not permitted.

  • Reference information

    Results are reference information, not medical, veterinary, legal or investment advice, and are not a basis for diagnosis or prescribing.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a monthly plan?

No. The business API runs on prepaid API credits. Your registration is complete once you buy your first pack of credits.

Can I use it in a service for my customers?

Yes. Integration into your own products and services is allowed, provided you show the sources and do not resell or redistribute the data or offer it as a competing service.

Which languages are supported?

Specify a language in your request and titles and summaries are returned in that language. The original source URL is always included.

What is the difference from the Personal API?

The Personal API connects your own AI assistant using the credits of your app plan, for personal and internal use only. The business API uses a dedicated business key and allows integration into your products.
